☄ First Impressions

♚ VISUAL: A pretty girl with a wary, melancholy air. Her expression has taken on a more haunted look lately. She's serious and doesn't smile very easily anymore, and there's always a watchfulness to her eyes now, like she's half-expecting something to jump at her at any time. However, her emotions are broadcast rather easily over her face so it's hard for her to hide them.

She also has a peculiar bruising on her throat in a butterfly-like shape, like someone's tried to strangle her with their bare hands. It never seems to fade and always looks fresh.
♚ FASHION: From the directors: The basis for Mio's design in Akai Chou was, "Conscious of her predisposition to gaining weight easily, she joined a local ballet class. She came to like the maker of the tutu she bought to use for practice there, and bought clothes from a brand that was in the same keiretsu." Her design in Shinku no Chou, too, follows this, with additions to her back and shoulders to catch the eye.

♚ DEMEANOUR: Mio always holds herself rather...warily? She doesn't stand with any confidence and has a tendency to try and make herself look smaller, or at least like a less appealing target. She watches everything carefully and has a twitchy energy, snapping to attention and jumping at sudden noises or movements.
♚ AURAL: You can hear her Japanese VA here! And her and the same scene in English here, from the old version of the game (WE DO NOT SPEAK OF THE ENGLISH VERSION OF THE REMAKE).

In general she has a soft voice that conveys a lot of her feelings, it's difficult for her to hide her emotions.

♚ OLFACTORY: She probably smells like whatever soap and hair products she uses, usually something vaguely floral and feminine. She tends to not use the same combinations for long, and outright avoids some that might remind her to much of her sister. but in general clean, especially after being trapped in a rundown abandoned village for a week, she's taking advantage of hot showers and soaps as much as possible.
♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: Just let me know if there's going to be someone trying to read her mind, and I'll give you stuff to work with! She has no filters against such a thing, so no means of protecting her thoughts.

In general Mio is a huge mess of PTSD and guilt, so her mental place is not the best atm.
♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Mio has a substantial amount of spiritual power that she doesn't have any real training for or anything, so that'd be easy for someone to pick up on if they'd like! The bruising on her throat seems to also have an energy of its own that's similar enough to be almost identical to Mio's energy, but if someone's paying close enough attention they'd see there is a slight difference.

Action vs. Prose: I'll match whatever you do, but in general I'll default to action!

Offensive Subjects & Triggers: Nothing really bothers me tbh! I guess don't go into super graphic description of gore?? Other than that I'm fine.

IC PERMISSIONS

Physical Violence: Mio's quick and scrappy, but she has no fighting experience. I'm okay with people getting physically violent with her, but please no killing her off, and anything severe let's talk out!

Physical Affection: I'm down with it, though Mio might not be as much. Depending on how close the CR is she'll either return the affection or go stiff and shove the person away, swat a hand away, etc. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try, of course!

IC Triggers: God. This is a bit tricky because just about anything can set Mio off as she is currently given her mental state. She'll swing back and forth from being okay to being angry or bitter, but in general things to do with siblings or twins, death and spirits, or the idea of 'duty' tend to get her heated.

Relationships: I'm open to all types! If there's chemistry, I'm always interested in cultivating it and seeing where it'll go.

Are you interested in participating in the game's smut opt-ins? OOCly, yes, though ICly Mio wouldn't be eager to be jumping into bed with anyone or anything like that. Get the CR going and we'll see where it goes.

Mio has the ability to see memories or feelings associated with an object. Obviously I won't do this without asking, but if you want to take the initiative and tell me something Mio can get a hold of and what she can pick up on, let me know here!
